Most free online tools work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there and sending it back. That model requires you to trust a retention policy you cannot verify. ToolKloud is built the other way round: the processing code is delivered to your browser and your file never moves.

• No upload means nothing to leak — a file that was never transmitted cannot be retained, indexed, subpoenaed or exposed in someone else's breach.
• Modern browser APIs do the work — Canvas, WebAssembly, Web Workers and Web Crypto now handle image, video, PDF and cryptographic work that used to require a server.
• No accounts and no tracking of your files — there is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to attach your activity to and no file history to store.
• No artificial limits — because we are not paying for your CPU time, there is no daily quota, no file-size ceiling and no watermark to remove for a fee.
• Honest about the exceptions — a small number of features genuinely need a server, and those tools say so explicitly on their own page rather than burying it.

The trade-off is that speed depends on your own hardware. For everything on this site, that has been the right side of the trade.
